As many of you will know Pro-grow is now used by many of the country’s leading garden designers and we are delighted to have been of help recently to Jill Foxley who won a Silver Gilt Award for her Perfumed Garden at this year’s Hampton Court Flower Show. Jill used Pro-Grow Peat Free Soil Conditioner to bed in her plants and was delighted with the results, claiming that they looked even better at the end of the week than when they were just planted - congratulations to Jill as and you can see from this photo the garden really did look great!
We are doing our best to make life easier for you all by running as many special offers and promotions as we can this year so look out for these particularly on the Creative Garden Ideas website. Many of these are only open to those of you buying on-line and together with our distribution agents, CPL Distribution we are now actively mailing those of you who have bought from us previously with some great offers. It is also worth remembering that buying in bulk can also save you a considerable amount of money especially if you and your neighbours and friends club together or you are part of an allotment society or gardening club. We now offer 'Dumpy Bags', (approx 1 cubic metre), of all Pro-Grow products and are also able to deliver pallet loads of product to homes, allotments and gardening clubs across the country. From what you have all been saying it is looking like being another bumper year on the vegetable patch and more and more of you are adopting the peat free, recycled message which is now being promoted heavily by all of the leading gardening organisations and experts, including The RHS, who are actively promoting and supporting the Government’s target of a total withdrawal of peat use by home gardeners by 2020. However many people are still confused on how to ensure the best results when using peat free composts. So we thought it worth repeating our eight simple suggestions on how to get the best from using peat free products. 1. Always, store the compost bags in a dry place and make sure the compost you buy is fresh. Peat Free composts have a definite shelf-life, so ensure that the bags you buy have not been lying in a warehouse for too long – Pro-Grow Peat Free General Purpose Compost is packed fresh on a monthly basis. Once at home keep in a dry place until you use – but do not leave it too long!
Remember you can use Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner throughout the year - not just at the beginning and end of the season - soil needs refreshing in both dry and wet periods and Pro-grow will ensure your soil is in prime condition whatever the weather brings! And as always the good news is that, we deliver to your door, so you don’t have to brave the weather or carry heavy bags to and from your car!
